The Pacific Motorway M1/M3/Gateway merge project is needed to address the current congestion and safety issues in this area, particularly those experienced during pm peak periods.
The project will provide up to five southbound traffic lanes on the Pacific Motorway from Eight Mile Plains to Rochedale (Exit 19), relocation of the existing bus entry from the Eight Mile Plains Bus Station into the Pacific Motorway and a replacement four-lane overpass on a realigned Underwood Road.
